This is how "gallery wrap" canvases look. |
JANE WORD TAYLOR ART: There is a sense of timeless balance between the essence of place and its various iterations. I love the interaction of the abstract shapes with the sometimes whimsical details of the moment. Paintings displayed chronologically - click to enlarge. When I got there it was low tide and the pond was empty and dry. It was occupied by a woman in a beach chair and her small dog. The high surf suddenly began splashing in to fill the pond as the tide rose. The woman and the dog fled and the ae'o or Hawaiian Stilt flew in almost simultaneously. I felt privileged to be there for a priceless transitional moment.
