Shade and High Tide - Hapuna South
Acrylic 8 x 10 on Gallery Wrapped canvas

https://www.janewordtaylor.com/ I have been coming to this beach for 70 years, so my paintings tend to include memories that mix over time. When I was a child we would camp there and be the only people. The puddle in the middle of the beach only happens when the tide is very high. Birds and children love it. The trees along the South end of the beach are mostly fallen now, but people still seek shade along the edge of the cliff.

The summer of 2021 has been exciting: I began painting with the "Painting Out There" plein air group and it was just the jump start I needed to make painting a daily routine again, after 30 years of putting it on the back burner. I am beginning to sell, and will post available paintings soon, but if you see something that attracts you in older posts or on facebook, please email JaneWTaylor@icloud.com
